(vs. 15)<br /><br />Interesting - seemingly strange instructions. What kind of advice is this? <br /><br />In A.D. 70 when the Romans entered Jerusalem, they went through the streets killing and conquering. However, the way the houses were in Jerusalem, you could travel from rooftop to rooftop throughout the city. If those on the roof would have gone down for their coats, they would have been captured or killed.<br /><br />Even in warning about the evil times ahead, the Teacher tells them how to escape. I wonder how many figured that out - or how many tried to go down to collect a coat or belonging and were taken?<br /><br />What about us? Jesus has warned us about many evil things, and has told us the way to escape. Do we listen to His Teachings? Or try things our own way?Kevinnoreply@blogger.com
