Sometimes our circumstances seem overwhelming. We simply don’t know what to do. We wish for someone qualified to advise us.
Actually, this has already happened for every one of us and for every situation! And the one giving the advice is God Himself! How about that!
What’s the Heavenly Advice?
Listen to Jesus!
Here Jesus takes Peter, James and John up on a mountain. Miraculously, Moses and Elijah meet with them. But it is Jesus who becomes radiantly white.
Suddenly, when they looked around, they no longer saw anyone with them except Jesus. Then a cloud appeared and enveloped them, and a voice came from the cloud: "This is my Son, whom I love. Listen to him!”
This is what the University of Jesus is all about. Students learn to listen to the voice of the Teacher. They find out He has the best information about everything they face in life.

There are many things about this story that amaze me, and leave me wanting to know more.

Were they wearing name tags?
"Hello, my name is..."
What does "transfigured" mean? Is it similar to 1 Cor 15 when we will all be changed in the twinkling of an eye?
After the resurrection when Jesus appeared in locked rooms, was he in a similar state as on the mountain? (without the glowing clothes.)
Is this a glimpse of heaven on earth?
hmmm... I guess I'll need to remain a faithful student so I can be there at the end to attain the answers.
