LIFE-CHANGING!

Remain in me, and I will remain in you.

The Teacher could not give a more assuring promise than this. To be with His students forever!

The comfort of this pledge is the power of the One who made it. It is the Person who calmed the storm, walked on water, healed the sick and rose from the dead!

What would you give to have such a commanding friend like this with you at all times?

Wouldn’t you face life every day with a sense of empowerment? Circumstances beyond your control are not beyond His. In fact, nothing can happen in your life that He cannot handle.

This is what being a student of Jesus means in the real world. A great and powerful friend who promises to remain in you! Never leave you!

Being a close student of Jesus every day claims the promise of His continual presence and assistance.

That’s why it’s so important to keep this relationship current and fresh by living in the presence of Jesus every day.

If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be given you.

A student who daily is found paying attention to the words of the Teacher will soon learn the truth of this promise.

Just imagine. A life with God at your side! On your side!

How life changes when God is working in us and for us.

This is to my Father's glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.

  1. I think that most people dream of leaving some kind of legacy. What will be said of us when were gone? Will they talk about the things we built and acquired or of the good we did in others lives? Jesus never traveled the world, didn't build grand buildings. He isn't known for his political achievements or financial success. Yet he has affected and changed the world more than anyone else ever has or will. The fruit he produces is of the grandest kind. It is for all who want to partake. It never diminishes according to the seasons. It is of the highest quality and is greatly to be desired. What's best about this fruit is that by our clinging to the vine we too can produce such fruit. We too can change the world, starting with ourselves then one life at a time. And really our own legacy isn't all that important, instead, To God Be The Glory. Let your light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.
